Pet care experience
I am a doctoral candidate in child psychology working while preparing for my post-doc residency. I live with my longtime companion and best friend, Diogi, the sweetest old Collie you will ever meet. And he wants friends! We just moved to the Bloomington-Normal area. Truly, the biggest motivator to start Rover was not money but to find new friends for him. He is over 12 years old and I have had him his whole life. During that time, I have watched over so many pets--dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, rabbits. All with their own charm and needs. My work schedule is fairly consistent and can do work from home which creates flexibility for watching pets. I have lately given thought to investing in lint rollers as I alone probably account for 10% of their sales.

Andrew is a fantastic sitter for my pets! I have a dog and a cat. My dog requires medicine two times a day along with plenty of exercise as she is a cattle dog and he does a wonderful job! Would want him to watch my pets anytime.

A typical day
My fur companion and I do daily walks, and we often trip to parks. There is also a lot of playing in and around the house, and road trips on the weekends. These would only be more fun with more friends!
