I am Andrew’s father. Andrew grew up surrounded by animals. We have always had dogs of many breeds large and small, and currently have five. We are occasional breeders of multipoos, birthing and raising them in our living area. Andrew helps, as do all of us, with care and cleanup throughout the time from birth to adoption. We have had as many as 30 chickens, and currently have eight. Andrew has routinely provided the daily care of the chickens. We have had guinea pigs and rabbits, cockatiels, ducks, turkeys, cats, and even horses. Andrew has always helped care for all of the animals, starting from a very young age. We have taught our children to love and care for our critters, treating them with respect and kindness. All of them have developed friendships with and empathy for each of the animals, and appreciate each one’s individuality and personality. Andrew will recognize a pet that is well, and one that may not be, and can provide care as needed, including administering medications if necessary. (His mother and sister are also Rover service providers.) Aside from familiarity and knowledge of pets, Andrew is smart and responsible, respectful of property and personal space, and will care for your home and pets reliably.
