Wants to work with animals

Pet care experience

I've had pets my whole life. I don't think there's ever been a time in my life when I didn't have a pet. I always treat animals the best way possible because they're so precious. I've also recently had a few successful walks on another service called Wag. They all had very different personalities but were all very great dogs nonetheless. I always communicated with the parents to assure that the dog had water for the walk and about anything else I needed they didn't include in the profile.

Andrew is a loving and hard working person. As long as I have known him, he has always had a deep love for animals. While maybe a cat person at heart, Andy shows nothing but love and affection for his dog Teddy. This is the perfect job for him and I know he will excel at it.

Andrew would be a great pet sitter because he likes working with animals and is dedicated to taking care of any animal he has the opportunity to be around. He is great with his own pets and loves to work with animals, so I believe he would do great helping others with their animals as well.

I do not offer services in my home, in fact I recently moved out of my family's house and the apartment I moved to isn't pet friendly. I will, however drive to where you are for walks or drop ins to assure your fur baby is well cared for. Please inform me of any special attention that your dog may need prior to the visit, however. There's some stuff I can do and others I can't due to experience or lack there of with certain things.

Information Andrew R. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know any medical conditions first and foremost. I'm not trained to administer insulin if your dog has diabetes for example. I can give solid oral medication or oral liquid medicine. I used to do this for a pet I had that I had to rehome. I also would need to know temperment level and personality. Also their likes and dislikes. Such as, if a dog absolutely hates their ears being touched for an example. I'm not willing to be bitten because I didn't know this information.

A typical day

I will be willing to do anything from a routine walk (such as a walk around the neighborhood) to a long walk or even a car ride to the park and walk your dog there. As far as activities, that will vary depending on your dog's interests. Each dog is unique and likes to do different things.

Availability

I do have a bunch of other work I do as well, being self-employed. It's best to schedule a service with me vs ask for one last minute. I request at least 24 hours notice before the service. And I will try to extend the same if I need to cancel except in cases of an emergency (I will also need 24 hours if you need to cancel except in cases of emergency as well so I can plan accordingly).
