Andrew has been a dog lover since he was a young pup himself. Over the years, this is the comment I heard most from parents of friends: 'he is so good with animals, our dog fell in love with him!' The second most common comment was, 'he is so well mannered, Andrew is like a little man already'. I believe a person who has an innate love of animals has a good heart and a deep compassion for others. This describes my son perfectly. He began volunteering at the Atlanta Humane Society at the age of 16. At first, it was to bolster his resume for college applications, but he continued going on his own because he so enjoyed spending time with the many homeless dogs. Andrew finds joy when he is with dogs, just like his mom. He has been a wonderful big brother to our 14 year old Ziggy; to this day, they play together as if they were still puppy and toddler! I know he can't wait until the day he can have his own dog in his own home, but until then, he would love taking care of yours.
