My goal as a care provider is to give dogs exercise, socialization, and love! I began walking dogs at the SF SPCA and have worked with shy, anxious, jumpy, friendly, and many other types of dogs. It has given me the tools and patience to cater to the many different needs to keep dogs comfortable and happy! I have come to notice just how beneficial these visits can be for the dogs' physical, intellectual, and emotional wellbeing. I also work for a small dog walking company, where I help dogs get out of the house and explore their neighborhoods. It has also allowed me to learn to provide thorough communication and service to pet owners! I have experience with a wide range of dogs (including a few puppies) of various sizes, personalities, attachment/attention/energy levels, ect, but will also work on the safe side to care for your dog(s), as they can still be unpredictable. I know how to help shy dogs feel comfortable around me, can keep up with highly energetic dogs, and know how to safely walk dogs around strangers, other dogs, across the street, ect. It is also my priority to keep owners informed about their dogs. I will keep a careful eye on the comfort level of your dog while out walking and socializing. I prefer to be more cautious and careful about letting dogs sniff and wander towards potentially dangerous items or areas on the street. Owners can expect updates on their dogs accordingly and should feel free communicating their/their dog's needs!
