Pet care experience
FULLY INSURED I had a dog growing up and have rarely been without a pet. I used to walk dogs as a kid for ice cream truck money. At 12 I got 5 gerbils that lived long lives. At 21 I adopted my first cat, a senior cat named Millie. After she passed away I got one of my current cats, Bonkers, who is now 12. I also have a 4 year old cat named Martok.

I generally only board cats in my home, but I am happy to do check ins and walks for dogs. In my home pets are free to roam the house once they have settled and it is clear there will be no hostility with my own cats, which is the vast majority of cats. I have a couple of rooms I can close off from the rest of the house so even if they cannot free roam they have plenty of space, a big bed, and a heater for the cold. They are part of the family while they are here because your pet is on vacation, too!

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or accommodations. I have experience with elderly pets, as well as deaf and blind pets. I have had a deaf dog and a blind cat myself.
A typical day
I like to take them on new routes if possible. Maybe to a park where they can sniff around and take in all of the new smells. I also like to play game with them, like fetch or tug o war.

Availability
I have done a lot of pet sitting in the past off of rover. I have done check ins with dogs, cats, lizards, tarantulas, you name it. I also have a lot of experience in getting pets to take their medication.
