Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting since I was 15 years old for neighbors and family friends which continued in college. I fostered a pitty for about six months my junior year of college while volunteering at the local shelter and caring for numerous dogs. My first job out of college was working at an animal shelter but had to leave due to not being able to find affordable living near the location. During that time I learned how to train dogs, care for dogs that have a wide range of health and ability, and take care of dogs that are dog reactive or dog scared. I am a ginormous animal lover and would be honored to take care of your pets!

Andrew has taken care of my chocolate lab, Mocha, many times and she absolutely loves him! She is always excited to see him and Andrew does a great job with her! She is getting older so her energy is not where it used to be, but he always makes the effort to play with her and give her the love she needs! I live on the campus of a local private school due to the fact both my parents work there and have access to a huge school campus where your dogs can explore and run around on one of the many fenced in fields. I have a lot of experience crating dogs if you need it as well, and am comfortable with making sure they are crated if need be. I also live close by to a lot of parks with walking trails if your dog likes long walks or likes interacting with other dogs. I also am totally okay having a relaxing calm day if your dog is the type to sit around and nap rather than hanging out with other dogs, I will be napping right next to them! I am an overly cautious person especially while taking care of pets so I make sure the pet's safety is secure while taking care of them. I also take lots of pictures of animals when I am with them so expect a lot of cute pictures for you to enjoy while you are away!

Please let me know if your pet has any specific triggers so I know to avoid whatever that is to make sure they are as happy and comfortable as possible while I take care of them!!
A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks to get their energy out and let them stimulate themselves by sniffing the neighborhood or exploring walkways and fields. I have an abundance of space where I live to make sure dogs are active as much as they desire until they get tired and they can nap on the couch with me for as long as they need. I also live close to a few dog parks if your dog is social and safe around other dogs!

I am currently unemployed and looking for work to keep me busy while I try to find a full-time job. I currently have no daily commitments so pet care would be an easy fit into my daily and weekly routine.
