I’m a 33 year old registered nurse who spent the last decade working in the ICU. Recently, I have transitioned out of the hospital to work with disabled children in the public school setting. While caring for animals is very different than caring for people, I share this to build a level of trust from the start. With me, you can absolutely count on the high-level professionalism, integrity, kindness, and communication you’d expect from a licensed caregiver to ensure the well-being of a family member. In this case, instead of children at my day job, it’s your loved pet. I have lived with and cared for animals my entire life, growing up with a multitude of cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, and various other small animals. Prior to working with Rover, I’ve cared for (and walked) a wide variety of dogs and cats of friends and family members. This includes small hyper dogs, timid dogs, large dogs, and even a home that contained six dogs of various sizes, ages, and health needs. If you’re looking for someone you can trust, someone who is skilled at professional communication, and (God forbid) someone who has the instincts to avoid or handle a rare emergency — you’ve found him.
