I grew up around dogs and have been dogsitting for family and friends for almost a decade now. My first job ever was caring for a family of 6 golden retrievers, who each had special diets for a month while their owners were on vacation. I also was the primary caregiver for my own dogs, Wally (a wheaten terrier) and Jet (a rescue greyhound), as they got older and eventually passed away, so I am experienced and patient with senior dogs. I work from home as a writer and so I have plenty of time to devote to playing with your pet and taking them for walks. I am active and if you like, am happy to take your dog for runs with me! I currently live in a spacious, two-story house with plenty of room for scampering around, and only about 15 minutes walk from Lake Michigan. I love all types of dogs from the biggest to the smallest.
