I'm here because I love animals. I have cared for almost every breed of dog and cat. I previously was a veterinary technician for a low-income spay and neuter clinic and worked briefly at the Humane Society of the United States in Florida. I also had some exposure and training with wildlife rehabilitation and rescue. As a sustainable gardener and farmer, I also have worked with and cared for farm animals too. Most importantly, I am vegan because of my love for animals and care for them deeply. While a volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps in Jamaica, I raised kittens and took in homeless cats, and cared for many dogs living in deplorable conditions, literally saving a couple of lives. I cared for my boy (cat) Monk (who I love and miss) for many years, who was a diabetic. I have had several animal guardians in my life over the years who lived happy lives. Together with my experiences and love for animals, I will treat them as if they were my own with love, care, and respect. Indeed, you can rest assured I will go above and beyond for your companion when we are together.
