Animals are my everything!
Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals since childhood. My family has rescued everything from snakes to kittens from the roadside and nursed them back to health. I have also worked in boarding facilities, with chewy, with service animals, and with dog trainers for 3+ years. I am also a license canine behaviorist.
Reviews
Andrew is the most kind and attentive dog lover I've ever known. I've seen dogs absolutely transform into being better versions of themselves just by being with him for a few weeks! If I worry about my dog, he's the first person I call for advice. He loves all dog breeds, so no matter big or small, your dog is sure to be adored during their stay with him!
Andrew is one of the most conscientious and dedicated caregivers for his animals I have ever known. He has always had furry creatures and lavishes them with attention. He also has a real knack for training, especially dogs. You can trust that he will care for your pets as if they were his own,

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I follow strict, detailed instructions to ensure the comfort of the animals in my care. My own home is totally open excluding my spare bedroom. My spare bedroom is a reserved area for my own animals when they need their own space. Aside from that room there is not a single limit for your pup! Cats I typically do not allow in my personal bedroom. This is so that my own can rest in there to prevent any issues overnight. No dangerous items or household supplies are ever left out, all toys/bowls/beds/blankets are sanitized after boarding, and I have tons of treats and spare food on standby! All foods and treats are stored in a secure location and are packaged individually. This is to ensure no contamination in case of food allergies or sensitivities. I do have a large dog crate and a small crate if ever needed. I heavily prefer to keep animals free roaming any time I am nearby. However, puppies and younger dogs I typically will crate if I do have to leave (assuming they are used to a crate). Dogs that are non-crate trained I will usually sat up a gate or playpen style divider in one section of the home for additional security. My own animals during this time will be in an isolated space for safety as well.
Information Andrew C. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing I need to be aware of would be health conditions and behavioral issues. I do have several years of experience dealing with special needs, critical care, and rescues. Feel free to request particular schedules, avoidance of other animals, and whatever else your pup needs to meet success!
A typical day
A typical day would be lots of games like tug, ball, and treat puzzles accompanied by 2-5 walks depending on the dog! I can offer potty breaks as much as needed and have a long-line which is an leash that is approximately 10ft long to allow dogs to have a sense of freedom outdoors! I have a partially fenced yard as well as a large school yard behind me.

I work between 9:30am - 6pm Tuesday - Saturday. I am available before and after my work schedule or any time Sunday and Monday. Your furry friends will have all the love and comfort they need. I have two cats and a German shepherd. All of my animals can be kept entirely separate from your furbabies if you'd like! All of my animals are fully vaccinated and treated for fleas/ticks/heartworm monthly.
