I have been an animal lover for 28 years, a dog owner for 15 years, and a dog sitter for 10. These days I find myself in situations caring for both ends of the spectrum—from energetic puppies to slow-moving older pups. While I love younger dogs, I have a special affinity for older dogs and am very comfortable administering medicine, going on slow walks, helping dogs with physical difficulties get around, and providing a calm and loving presence. I also love taking more energetic dogs on long walks through neighborhoods and nature. I currently work full time during the week from 8 to 5, which would make needier dogs quite difficult to care for right now. I am home most weekends and jump at the opportunity to spend them with dogs, especially those that like to adventure in the woods. I also live with two dog loving parents who are home Mondays and Fridays and are likewise happy to help care for fur friends. While I was a dog owner myself for 15 years, I sadly do not have any pets currently. I am practicing Buddhist that adores connecting with all animals, and particularly dogs. I enjoy spending quiet days laying around with dogs at home, as well as taking them on adventures to the woods, beach, or to meet other dogs I think will be a good fit for them.
