When choosing a sitter for your dog, there is no better choice than Andrew. He's loyal, dependable and protective... just like your fur baby! Andrew is already a phenomenal dog parent to an adorable mini Dachshund, a rescue that he keeps extremely well groomed and fed, and who is always in a happy mood. Andrew "speaks dog" and I have watched him win over the hearts of canines both large and small. He lives in a very dog-friendly neighborhood, where your pup will surely make some new friends on walks through Palisades Park. He/she might even learn a few new tricks during their stay!
Andrew, is a trustworthy person, who always makes his commitments. He never falters on watching a dog or cancels / reschedules an appointment. He has trained numerous dogs over the many years I have known him. All of these dogs are better for having had his influence. Andrew's dog Birdie, is the best behaved and sweetest canine I have met. Trusting Andrew with your dog will be the nest decision you have made.

My home has a securely fenced yard (no way for even our slinky sausage dog to Houdini out), but I would never leave dogs unattended outdoors. We are very conscientious of safety and have several pup ramps throughout the house to get up and down on couches.

I've had dogs my whole life and my current pooch is a rescue so I am well versed in caring for dogs of all personality types and needs. If your pup has any needs, please let me know. I can identify with being anxious leaving Birdie with her severe separation anxiety and will make sure your pal is in the best of care.
A typical day
I enjoy taking our pup on strolls through the many nearby parks or to the village - I have a dog stroller if your pup prefers to ride in style ;) - and will make sure they feel right at home during their stay. When I am working, there are several dog beds, dog homes, and toys throughout the various rooms of our house for your dog to lounge and be cozy.

I work from my home office and have a flexible schedule and so can attend to your pups needs all day. My wife also works from home and so your pup would rarely, if ever, be left alone.
