I’ve never grown up with any dogs, however starting at a young age, family friends would ask my family and I to take care of their pets for the day, overnight, or for a couple of days. I’ve learned a lot while taking care. Sometimes I would visit some houses to look after their pets to make sure to feed them, clean up any mess, and play with them!
