Pet care experience
45 years experience seemed unrealistic (so I kept it at 25) but my entire life has been filled with fur babies! Everything from Great Danes to chihuahuas, parrots to fish, horses to cats and bunnies. My life has been full with rescues, troubled dogs, injured ferals, etc. My spouse always hears: “I WILL save this baby, but I promise I won’t keep them”. We have successfully rescued many animals that were not ours and helped them find their forever homes. Now I’m trying to share our space and time with new fur friends that need a break from home or a walk with a friend. I’m very comfortable with medical needs, elderly and puppy - all stages and complications of life. Cinnamon and Sugar - our family’s golden doodles, and myself would love to have new walking friends! Or our entire family would love to have some overnight visitors. My 3 children are very comfortable with many animals and have grown up with 3 rules in regards to dogs: 1) don’t talk to them 2) don’t look at them 3) don’t touch them - UNTIL the dog approaches and greets them. Andrea is the perfect sitter for our behaviorally challenging dog. She understands our dog's personality and behavioral quirks and how to address them. She sent us updates on how our dog was doing, including any challenging behaviors she observed so that we knew to look out for them in the future. There are very few people we would feel comfortable leaving our dog with for such a long period of time (this time 2.5 weeks), but we were totally comfortable that Juno was well-cared for and loved in Andrea's home.
I cannot express this enough… Andrea & her family are AMAZING!! We had never felt comfortable leaving both of our dogs with anyone until we met Andrea. She truly takes the time to understand each dog and is very patient with our anxious goldendoodle. They will forever be our go-to family! Don’t think about it twice, Andrea & her family are the best.
Louie loves to go to Andrea’s. I don’t have to worry when he is there because I know they give him as much love as I do. Such a great find and will continue to use them for daycare and over nights. Thank you!

I have a single level home (so elderly and dogs with other complications don’t have to navigate stairs) a fenced yard, a covered deck, two friendly dogs and many dog beds throughout the house. Your pup/s have the freedom to roam the house and yard playing and resting all day. I will be home with them most of the day, on occasion there will be times when they will be home for short stints without supervision. We have one extra kennel that can be used for this time if your pup is more comfortable in it. If I’m coming to your house, you can expect that I will treat your home and pet/s just as my own! Snuggles, play, appropriate food and water, meds - Trust me, Ive got it covered!

Please provide any information that will help me understand your fur baby better. If there are any special needs or preferences, medications or risks - this is important information. It is also critical that I have knowledge about how they interact with other dogs, people and children. Just because other people, dogs or children may not be their favorite does not mean I won’t work with them - but it does mean I need to meet them ahead of time.
A typical day
I enjoy helping dogs feel content through physical and mental stimulation. Sometimes this is a hike or run, and sometimes it’s a game of hide and seek or chasing balls. Regardless, we always have fun.

Availability
I’ve just earned my real estate license and am in the beginning stages of growing my brand! This means I have early/afternoons for walks without children or evenings with children - whichever your pup prefers. We are also home most holidays and weekends with some exceptions - but you’ll see those on the calendar.
