Pet care experience
I love dogs and my own beloved Miniature Schnauzer died aged 15 last year. Really missing him, I have very happily looked after family, friends, and even their friends, dogs and cats, and thoroughly enjoyed walking, feeding, playing and getting to know them. I know what it’s like to worry about your pet when you’re not there so will happily send photos and video updates and walk and or play with their favourite toys as part of a visit. My dog lived to a ripe old age so I’m experienced at looking after older dogs and cats and making sure they have taken any necessary medication too.

Andrea really helped me out on more than one occasion looking after Luna when I was visiting somewhere. She is very thoughtful and experienced with dogs and gave me lots of useful training tips to use myself. Wouldn't hesitate to ask for her help with Luna in the future.
Andrea looked after our bouncy cocker spaniel Marley and was tremendous from start to finish. We were nervous leaving him for the first time outside of family, and met for an initial walk to introduce them both. Andrea clearly knows dogs well and asked us lots of questions to understand how best to look after Marley. She was hugely reassuring, responsive and during the stay kept us updated and sent pictures throughout! Marley enjoyed some wonderful long walks and by the end of the day was clearly relaxed and content. We know he can be a bit much for some people as a bug bundle of energy, but Andrea showed great understanding, patience and an experienced hand in taking care of him. We’d definitely recommend Andrea and would look her up for Marley again!

I am recently retired, although I do some supply work and so am very flexible. I am happy to walk your dog, visit them or have them stay with me and be part of a home from home. Whatever works best for you, your dog and your schedule.
