Pet care experience
If you are looking for a genuinely responsible and caring person to assist helping you out with your animals, look no further. I am a full time High School Administrative/Attendance Secretary who is interested in part time employment doing what I truly enjoy...loving, caring and being with animals. I presently love a poodle/mutt mix that we adopted from the Glenside, PA SPCA in 2010. Also have 2 cats; Cooper is 7 and Kitty is 5...both are also adopted. My 27 year old neighbor is involved with and introduced me to this site. I am experienced with dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish. My kids were lucky growing up. If they wanted to bring home a pet, I was eager and ready! I look forward to meeting your loves!

Andrea will make a great dog sitter because she is kind and compassionate to all animals. She has a dog of her own that she obtained from a shelter. She treats her dog as a family member, as she does to the two cats that she has. Andrea has also been a dog sitter to my own dog. I had all the confidence in the world in her when I left my dog in her care. She would be an asset to Rover.
Our dog is literally in love with her and it is almost like our dog is lost without her when she leaves for work. She just sits by the window waiting for her to pull up so that she can receive the love that is waiting for her when she gets home. Andrea is very caring to animals and values the life of an animal very highly. One would be lucky to have her caring for their animal.

I know first hand the unsettled feeling of having to leave my animals behind for short visits/vacations. A long vacation? Forget it...I won't take one. UNLESS, I am 100% confident of who is caring for them. Of course, I will want to be made aware of what your dog enjoys and more importantly, what makes your dog uncomfortable and nervous. Does he or she like to be hugged or is affection on his/her terms? Short walks or longer walks? Do they eat their meals in one sitting, or graze?, etc. Any information that you feel is important for me to know, tell me and I will honor it!
A typical day
We have a screened in back porch so if the weather is not-so-nice, fresh air can still be enjoyed. We also have a fenced in, comfortably sized back yard. Our neighborhood is filled with responsible dog walkers who walk their dogs on a leash. Plenty of opportunity for outside time.
