I've had dogs for more than 40 years, and they've all become family. Friends have always told me my dogs hit the jackpot when they become part of my household. I tend to spoil them and after having senior pets with a lot of health issues, I've learned to be even more attentive to extend my time with them as long as possible. If you hire me, you'll see that your dog will be excited for their visit. Dogs get easily attached to me because I tend to baby them! I can manage strict medical needs as far as diet and administering medication. (I am not comfortable giving shots).

You can tell that Andrea loves dogs and she immediately played with Lucy and made her feel at home. She sent me pictures and a video. Lucy always seemed so happy and content. She played with her and took excellent care of her. So glad I found her.
Andrea was very welcoming to our little pup! We have a chihuahua terrier mix who is hesitant around new people. She understood little dogs and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing our pup was in good hands!
Andrea will treat your pup(s) like royalty! She is kind, loving and patient with animals. You can relax knowing that she will keep you updated and your furchild happy while in her care.
Andrea is great! She is responsive, communicative and easy going. She is also someone who is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond. Our German Shepard/Husky, Zeus, adores her and is always excited to see her. It is apparent from the moment you see her interact with your dog that it is not just a business to her, it is something she wants to do. In addition, her knowledge regarding all aspects of canine care is extensive and helpful. She wants your dog to be happy, healthy and having the best day!

I don't have any pets in my home so yours will get full attention. My backyard is fully fenced and free of chemicals. I will board no more than 1 dog at a time to ensure the best care and attention so your pets needs are fully met. If your pet isn't comfortable with other dogs or aggressive with people, please let me know in advance. All dogs need to be potty trained. Pets with minor continence issues due to health issues are welcome for boarding if they wear doggie diapers. (such as "Cuddle Bands Male Dog Belly Band " for male dogs and "doggie diapers" for female dogs). Sorry, but I do not accept boarding for pets trained on potty pads.

Please inform me if your dog is aggressive or unfriendly to people or other animals. I will require your pet's Vet name and information in case of emergencies and you cannot be reached. Also, please advise if your pet has dietary needs, medication, special treats, or health issues. Any information so your pet can be cared for in the same special way they are cared for at home.
A typical day
I have dog activity games used to stimulate dog's minds and keep active and inquisitive dogs busy. Other than that, playing catch with balls, chase, or tug of war seem to be the small dog's biggest interest. On nice days, we will have outdoor play time for ample exercise and fresh air. If they like to walk, I live in the very dog friendly Glendale neighborhood so your pet can socialize with our neighborly fur residents (if they like that sort of thing!).

Availability
I'm currently working from home part-time. If you chose to board, I'll be available to provide many potty and outdoor play breaks or dog walks during the day if they like that.
