Hello! I am a fellow dog lover with one small and one medium sized pup! I have had dogs my almost my entire life starting when I was 7. I have also dog sat and dog walked for friends and family and more recently, on a more professional level. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I love to spoil dogs with lots of love and attention but I also understand the importance of training, obedience and maintaining boundaries, especially those that are important to a dog's owner. My favorite breeds are the mixed breed or the rescues that may not get as much love out there in the world but any dog that that is friendly and playful gets equal footing! My boyfriend Peter and live together and both love to rough-house and/or cuddle with any dogs that stay with us. We also enjoy taking dogs for walks in the neighborhood or running around with them in our sizable back yard. We are out in Topanga so luckily we don't have to worry about urban distractions or too many neighbors. We often work from home so one of is usually around on any given day to make sure everything is taken care of as it should be. If you choose to have your dog(s) stay with us we will need to make sure they get along with our dogs. We unfortunately will not be able to house any dogs that have a history of biting or nipping as we can not be liable for that concerning neighbors or tenants that we interact with. We must also protect the health and well being of our own dogs. We look forward to connecting with you and your furry friends! Why I love dog sitting Peter and I have been dog lovers all of our lives. We have both always had dogs in the family or as pets thereafter. We love to play with them and take them hiking or walking or just cuddle with them. I have dog sat and dog walked both professionally and non-professionally. About my yard We have a half of acre of land 70% is open space which is fenced in by a 6 foot fence. There is wire mesh to approximately 4 1/2 feet. We can walk to dog-friendly hiking trails from our property and there is plenty of space to explore and run around in our yard.
