I have owned dogs since I was a child and currently have an almost five year old lab/catahoula mix. I dog sit for a variety of coworkers and other connections already and always love the dogs that I meet and create a positive and engaging dynamic with them. I live an active and outdoors lifestyle that I can use to get your dog moving, if need be. Or if they need someone to quietly spend time with them, I can do that, too. Whatever your dog needs, I will be happy to assist. I have a flexible work schedule that becomes a bit more flexible when I need it to, which enables me to offer the care your dog may require.

Andrea is absolutely wonderful! She watched our pup for a full week and we felt so assured our pup was taken great care of throughout. She sent daily updates and pictures, was thorough to ask clarifying questions and clearly spoiled him with love. She stayed in our home during the sitting and took exceptional care of our home as well. We are very glad to have her as a sitter and will continue booking her services anytime we need in the future.
Andi is incredible with all animals and puts so much love into her interactions with them, and makes sure they are happy, healthy, and safe. She has taken care of my dog on numerous occasions and there are few people I'd rather trust her safety and wellbeing with than Andi! Her own dog is one of the gentlest and best behaved pooches I've ever met. You're sure to rest easy knowing that Andi is caring for your pet!

I am happy to stay in homes with pets or spend the days with them or just go by for walks/potty breaks, depending on your preference. In my home, I have an apartment right off of the trail system so have great access for walks and I am in walking distance to a dog park for folks who prefer those. I would not take your pet to a dog park unless specifically requested, however.

I would just want to know what that dog's routine normally looks like and what they prefer so that I don't change too much of their routine. I do not have breed preferences.
A typical day
I like to go on walks over near Earthquake Park and on the Coastal Trail. I also love to go on little hikes throughout the Chugach - head up Rabbit Lakes or any of the trails off of the Arm. I love taking my friends' dogs to closed in baseball fields to play fetch or frisbee.

Availability
I work in the afternoons and the occasional evening Monday through Friday. I am studying during the day but with a very flexible schedule and am often getting outside to exercise myself and my dog.
