Pet care experience
Growing up, we always had at least one family dog, mostly rescues from the local shelter. In 2015, we bought a house on 3+ acres in Mebane, NC and got a dog of our own. Stella is a shepherd mix that is roughly 2 years old and she loves other dogs! She is off-leash when on our unfenced property, but any dogs we watch will stay leashed. In middle and high school, I volunteered with the local humane society and took care of the neighbors' dogs when they traveled. I have administered pills, ointments, and other medications.

My pup had an AMAZING time at Annie's. Their dog Stella is a joy and she and Artemis made fast friends. They incorporated her into their family and I could tell she felt right at home in the household. I highly recommend Annie as a sitter. She is a dog person and and all around animal lover and I can tell she gives lots of love and attention to all the creatures on her property. I will definitely be using Annie as a sitter in the future!

We felt so comfortable leaving our dog Ginger with Andrea. I loved the updates and the photos that she sent us. Their dog Stella is a sweetheart and we will definitely be in touch again. Andrea even made our dog a beautiful collar as a gift. Great yard for the dogs to play too. Our dog has been sleeping for about 3 hours now since we picked her up. Thank you so much Andrea & Austin.

A typical day
My husband and I live on over 3 acres of land in rural Mebane. We spend a lot of time outside during the summer in the garden and taking care of the yard, both on the weekends and during the week after work. We take our high-energy shepherd mix on many long walks around the property each day, so your dog will get plenty of exercise! We also like to take our dog to downtown Hillsborough on the weekends to walk through the park along the river and hang out outside at Mystery Brewing with the other friendly dogs!
