Pet care experience
I grew up in a family that always had a cat and a dog so I was raised with the responsibility of pet ownership. This expanded to small animal ownership when I entered college and raised gerbils and took care of rats, hamsters, and guinea pigs on weekends for friends. I'm currently the owner of four spoiled cats and a lovable dog. I've done pet sitting for other cats, dogs, and one delightfully pampered house chicken.

Andrea is wonderful with my furbaby, Louis, who is often unsure around other humans. Caring and patient, Ms. Andrea won over my quirky pup (and now he may like her more than me). Knowing someone so capable was available, gives incredible peace of mind.
Andi has dog sat my two dogs, a Chihuahua and Pug, for many years. She is very much an animal lover. Andi has taken great care of my animals while I am away, including walking them, feeding them, and playing with them. She comes highly recommended!

My philosophy about pet care is that every animal deserves kindness and love and that just like people, if we listen closely enough they'll let us know how they want to be loved. Some want to be pet, some want to be played with, some want conversation and your presence, and others (strangely enough) like it when you sit on a porch at 2am and sing 90s pop songs really badly to them. However they want it, every animal deserves to feel safe, loved, and cherished and I'm happy to be able to do that for them.

I want to get to know your pet like they're my new best friend. I want to find out about their human and pet friends in the neighborhood, I want to hear about their favorite treats and toys, I want to know if they have a favorite place to take a car ride to or if they prefer to chill out at home. I want to know if they have any allergies or are on any medication and the vet to call in case of an emergency. I want to know all about their background and what makes them special to you and anything that will help me connect with them easier.
A typical day
I enjoy playing tug, fetch, chase the string, and hide and seek with toys. Any game that lets me give your pet a lot of positive reinforcement is a good game in my book and I'm always up to hear about their favorites!

My availability is mostly open and I'm willing to work with clients to the best of my ability to make our schedules fit. I do my best to keep my schedule updated in a timely manner to help us both plan accordingly.
