Pet care experience
Over the course of my life, I've cared for small dogs and big dogs that are energetic, calm and in-between. I know which toys are safe and what food is healthy for them. Anything I don't know I'll research. Experience with blind dogs, old dogs, dogs with heart problems and recently raised a litter of puppies. Experienced in giving medication. If a dog runs away I'll find them even if it takes the whole day. I'm a very patient person when it comes to pets whether they are timid or energetic. Every dog is different so they will need different approaches and different methods of handling. I'm doing this for extra cash since I'm currently in college so I don't have a lot of time to be doing overnight stays or babysit a dog at my home. But I chose this job because its something I absolutely love to do and it's something I can confidently say I know how to do. Andrea is AWESOME! She helped me out by watching my cat over Christmas last-minute because my sitter flaked. She's professional, great with my cat, reasonably priced, dependable and as sweet as can be. My cat was happy when I came home for the first time ever. She will be my go-to sitter forever!
Hello DogVacay! So Andrea is a phenomenal caretaker. I've known her for almost a decade ever since she was a young teenager and without a doubt she is someone who takes pride in her work. All throughout her education she's been a diligent worker and a straight-A student. I mean, I could take an hour or two describing her work ethic alone. I could take even longer talking about her passion for all animals but for dogs especially. She has experience with dogs that she shouldn't have but does. Why? Well, her heart won't let her ignore an animal in need. That coupled with her quick thinking and intelligence was the reason she was able to successfully help my Doxy birth her SIX healthy pups without any complications. I still can't believe Andrea did that. Like I said, she is amazing. She is absolutely someone you want on your team. I mean, the only reason I've never had to hire services such as the ones you offer is because I could always count on Andrea to take care of my pets for me. Andrea is the most trustworthy person I have ever met. I have no worries when my doggies are in her care because I know how much love and importance she puts on them first. Andrea doesn't mind getting her hands dirty which is sometimes hard to find in a dog sitter/walker. There are many instances where her competence shined, but there was one night when my husband and I were out and Andrea was caring for our senor dog, Chocolate. Chocolate was taking one of her long naps but when she woke up, Andrea noticed she refused to get up no matter what. Her lower body was paralyzed. Andrea immediately called us on the phone and informed us. She suggested taking her to the vet right after letting us know. We gave her the go ahead. Turns out Chocolate had a back problem which was common with her breed type. She's fine now but thank god Andrea knew exactly what to do. She went the extra mile when she didn't have to. She did all the paperwork, stayed with Chocolate the entire time until we got there, and didn't charge us extra even when we offered. Andrea honestly loves dogs and animals in general. You will not regret hiring her, I know I didn't :)
