I'm Andrea's mom and I actually encouraged her to become a dog sitter during her breaks from college. She was raised with pit bulls in our home from birth and has loved dogs (any animal in general) ever since. From very young, she'd go up to an unknown dog and pet it. One may think that is dangerous but by the time I'd notice, the dog would be licking her face already. The dog would always know she'd cause no harm and had no fear. She'd call a dog larger than her a puppy, as she still does. Recently she took care of two stray puppies that were cleaned up, nourished, and then taken to a pet adoption agency. She wants a horse but we'll stick with her Miniature Schnauzer for now.
