DOG TRAINER WHO WORKS AT AVERY AH
Pet care experience
I am a college graduate with a degree as a social work assistant. Although I loved my job, my passion was working with dogs, so 13 years ago I decided to go back to school to become a Professional Dog Trainer and have loved every second of it! I know the importance of, not only affection, but physical and mental stimulation. Structured, fun walks and games are a great way to get the energy out so you are able to come home at night and just enjoy your dog, without the craziness! I make every day fun for your dog by using their natural instinct and talent bringing out the best in your dog! Whether it's fetch, or making up games where they can use their nose, I will find what your dog is good at and capitalize on that!
Reviews
Great first stay for Bert. Will book again. Thanks, Andrea!
Good first stay would do it again. Pictures were sent ! Thanks a lot !
Andrea was a wonderful host for Maximus. She was very attentive to any questions or concerns that I had. She kept me updated daily on Max activity with pictures. Her accommodations were nice for Max. I would highly recommend Andrea if your looking for a dog sitter.
As first-time dog parents, our experience with Andrea was excellent. During the holidays, she proved to be a wonderful caregiver for our dog Luna. Despite contacting her last minute, she responded promptly and provided us with reassuring photo updates. We deeply appreciate her attentiveness and care for Luna, and we would trust her again without hesitation. Thank you, Andrea!

In my home we do a lot of walks around the neighborhood as well as a large fenced in yard to run in! Must be dog friendly as I have dogs myself! If I am in your home, I stay for as long as needed to make sure your pup is happy and wore out!

Information Andrea P. would like to know about your pet
Any health issues, are they updated on shots and heart worm/flea/tick meds. Does your dog get along with other dogs? Is your dog leash reactive (do they bark and/or lung every little thing that they walk by)? What does your dog like to do? Do they use their nose well for possible games? Where do they sleep? Crate, in bed, on floor? What do they eat and how often? Do they get treats? What kind/how often?
A typical day
I like to connect with your dog in a way they understand, structured walks, games such as fetch or find it (where they use their nose to find an object). Structured walks around your neighborhood or public park is more than just a walk. Believe me, many dogs can run a marathon over and over, but a structured walk forces them to use their brain as well as their legs, which dogs LOVE because it is in their nature! My goal is for you can come home and enjoy your dog while they are calm and relaxed!

I currently work at MedVet 4 days per week. My 14 year old daughter helps a ton with your pup as well. We are a team! If one isn’t home the other always is!
