Hello Dog (& Kitty) Lovers! I'm Andrea, an experienced dog owner with professional animal welfare nonprofit experience and training in dealing with companion animals of all kind. I am very active in the animal welfare community and have an extensive list of helpful resources (knowledge of great dog parks, veterinarians as neighbors, etc.) so anytime a pet stays with me, it will be in the best of hands. Added bonus: Penn Vet Hospital is only a 5 min drive, and I have my car at all times in case of any emergency. I'm flexible with time, very reliable, available on most weekends and holidays, and can care for medium to small size pets. I live in a loft style apartment building with a large private park, and dog run out front with plenty of space for dogs to run around in. Your pets will get lots of attention, playtime, and love. My house is pet proof and there's really nothing that they can get into, pet safety is always my number one priority. I share my home with my dog Teddy (a senior). Last minute bookings accepted.

My husband and I were travelling across continents and were so worried about our 1.5 year old female British short hair. Our cat daughter is playful, needy and choosy about people. We wanted her to be happy in our absence and it was going to be a tough job for anyone. So we met couple of sitters but no-one hit it off as well as Andrea. Our cat Cherry instantly liked her and purred in her presence. Once the handover day came, Andrea came in to our house and stayed over night. We did not want out cat to be alone for days. She not only treated Cherry like her own but also took care of our house like her own. She has a very calm and soothing demeanor which made us so comfortable entrusting her with our cat baby and out house. Andrea made sure she sent us regular updates and made us so happy. We could easily enjoy our vacation. Infact, Cherry would wait for Andrea once she left and it was very heartwarming to see how smooth things went. You are a star cat sitter and we would trust you with Cherry anytime when we need. Unfortunately, now we have moved to Seattle :(
Took amazing car of my cat and dog while we were away for the weekend! Came back to a well entertained dog that clearly had a great time!

I have a two floor lofted apartment, I keep my dog and visiting pups on the main floor to avoid the stairs. My space has safety pet gates to prevent any pups from exiting the front door. They are allow anywhere on the main floor where I work. At your home I will follow whichever routine you share with me. Safety is my number one priority.

Please let me know the following about your pup to help me give them the best experience: Regular routine, does your dog have any moments when it may display aggression (i.e., feeding time, playing with toys), medication if any, triggers (i.e., balls, squirrels, other dogs or breeds), feeding portion and allergies, any likes and dislikes.
A typical day
I love to take new pups to the dog park, if you have an active dog I'll make sure we are active throughout your pup's stay. My dog is very low maintenance and easy to get along with so we both enjoy an active dog when one joins us. I'm also a lapdog lover and if your dog loves a good cuddle, my pack is the right place for a good time!

I work from home full-time during the week and have a very flexible schedule. And I am open to most weekends and last minute bookings.
