Pet care experience
Having enjoyed 14 years with our beloved Labrador, our family are huge dog lovers! I know all too well how important it is to find the right environment for your dog when you can’t take them with you. I offer a happy, safe and fun home from home! I have looked after many family and friends’ dogs over the years, for both long and short stays. Your dog will have lots of attention and love from my teenage daughters and myself as well as long walks on the South Downs and nearby beaches.

Andrea was absolutely brilliant, it felt like Ted was going home from home. He was looked after as though he was Andrea’s own with lots of walks, games and cuddles. Andrea is so warm and knowledgeable, I couldn’t wish for somewhere better to leave Ted while we are away, I know he’ll be delighted to return.
We are so lucky to have found Andrea. This was the second time our labrador has stayed with her and he raced to see her on arrival, quickly making himself at home! We know he is in very safe hands and will be treated like one of the family. Thank you so much for looking after him again.
Andrea had my 3 year old labrador for the weekend and would highly recommend kept me updated on Maggie and pictures and had lots of walks.Maggie came home and slept alot so she must of had so much fun and can see she had been spoilt with lots of cuddles I would definitely use Andrea again as I knew Maggie was well cared for.
Couldn’t ask for anything more in someone to look after our lab. Andrea was warm, caring, attentive and professional from start to end. Ted had a wonderful stay, lots of lovely walks, friendly company, I don’t think he wanted to come home!! Andrea kept us up to date throughout with pictures to show how content Ted was. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

As we no longer have our dog, I am entirely flexible when it comes to caring for yours! I can adopt whatever routine your dog is used to. I have an enclosed back garden and lovely walks on my doorstep. Dogs are of course allowed on the sofa for evening cuddles if that’s what they’re used to!

If your dog has any special dietary requirements pls let me know. Having cared for a dog with chronic pancreatitis, I am careful not to offer scraps unless ok with you. If your dog has any socialising issues, is a bit grumpy with other dogs and needs to be kept on the lead, please let me know. It’s also important to know the commands your dog responds to.
A typical day
It’s so important for dogs to be engaged, stimulated and above all have fun! So there will be lots of ball throwing and games in the garden. And of course long and short walks locally on the South Downs, Kingley Vale and at the beach to name a few!

Availability
I am currently only able to look after dogs at weekends during term time but can offer longer stays during school holidays. Please note that due to work commitments, the earliest I can have your dog on a Friday is after lunch. Please message me with your requirements and I’ll do my best to accommodate you 😊 I like to meet up with you and your dog before accepting overnight bookings.
