Pet care experience
I have been petsitting with my almost 15 year old lhasa apso since 2012. He has always enjoyed having a doggy friend or two to hang out with. Now that he is older, I am only accepting senior or calm, easy going small/medium dogs. I do work during the week but my dad is around to supervise while I am at work and make sure they get a potty break or two. They get walks morning and evening with me as well. For drop in visits, I am only available for once a day drop ins, so I usually only accept cats and can only do evening visits during the work week.

We always have a great experience when Andrea watches our cat. We have had others watch and he always seems the most content after she watches him!

Andrea is consistently reliable and great with my cats! She’s easy to get in touch with and easily adaptable if plans change and I need her to switch around the days she visits. I recommend her!

Dogs are only crated for a couple hours when no one is home. I like them to feel at home and have space, multiple dog beds to choose from or the couch. I will leave their crate with the door propped open if they choose to go in their crate for aby reason.

I try to provide a calm and relaxed environment. Feel free to message me with questions. I also volunteer with an animal rescue group, so I have had lots of experience with different types of dogs who come from different/difficult situations.
A typical day
Walks morning and evening weekdays, more often on weekends weather permitting. Potty breaks as needed. My dad can take them out in my unfenced yard on a leash while I work, and give them company and supervision/snuggles as well.

I work full time but have my dad home to give potty breaks and company while I work. Weekends are more flexible and we try to get outside and enjoy nature weather permitting.
