From high school-now, I‘ve been dogsitting for family/friends as a favor to them and myself. Some dogs have had health issues (cancer, thyroid gland, high anxiety) that required specific care. I grew up with two dogs, a beagle and a lab, and when visiting family & friends, I am always surrounded by animals. I volunteered for 2 shelters over the years where I’ve cleaned facilities, walked dogs, bathed dogs, inspected apartments of potential adopters, and fundraised. I also used to clean the cat spaces, feed them and play with them. I currently have a very independent, sweet cat but would have a dog as well if my apartment allowed it. All of this means I love any excuse to hang out with pups, no matter what breed or behavior!
