Pet care experience
I have grown up with or around dogs of varying sizes my entire life. Being a current college student who is going to move around a lot, I don't currently own a dog, and I really miss having regular contact with dogs. My main goal with Rover is to get regular contact with dogs again (with the added bonus of a little extra spending money). My current pet is a cat named Remi. She is technically my roommate's cat, but we all take care of her. Thus the pictures of a cat on my profile, so far. I can also play with a cat or scoop litter during a drop-in. My available hours during the week are a bit limited because of classes and my main job: Monday-Friday I can dependably do 7-10pm. Monday-Wednesday I can also do between 1-3pm. Friday I am available all morning and early afternoon until 3. Weekends I can do almost anytime with notice. I usually volunteer at the Iowa Parrot Rescue from 10a-2pm(ish) but with enough notice I can change the day/time I volunteer there. Depending on the time of day, my boyfriend will occasionally join us on our walks and will only join a home visit with prior owner approval.

I would like to know any quirks that the dog has (for example a smile that looks like a snarl). I would, obviously, like to know the dogs favorite thing! Which is usually everything because dogs are awesome, but anything in particular. I love all dogs, though I can be a bit partial to boxers, labs, and anything fluffy!
A typical day
Near my apartment there is a park. that I enjoy going to. There is always the option of walking downtown. There the dog will get loads of attention from stressed college students (I would know). There are also two dog parks in Iowa City that I would be willing to drive to if the owner approves (day passes are 5 dollars and I would expect the owner to pay for these after the first visit. I would like to make sure the dog is comfortable and enjoys it the first time.)
