Review is terrible. After I had confirmed a couple of times previously with Andrea and when the time past that she was supposed to be there (10am) I called her and she didn't seem to have any recollection about of the appointment. A minute later she sent me a text saying "I don't know if I mentioned it but I was called last minute to baby sit until 6pm. She said se would come after 6 pm and check on Ginger stay until tomorrow @7am. We had her scheduled from 10am until 11pm to stay at our home with Ginger - not overnight. We had a wedding of a dear friend to go to and had to drive 3 hours each way, That's why we wanted a sitter for our puppy, during the hours we would be gone. Needless to say the day was shot. I tried to go on Rover to cancel and get a refund but it said if I cancel I would not get a full refund, but the sitter has to cancel. i notified her but she said she can't cancel it because it as past the start time. So how do I get a full refund now. It going to be a hassle and take a lot of time. My first experience with Rover.com has been terrible. I doubt if there will be a second time. I've mentioned this to several people in the park across the street and they all cautioned me about using a service like this where there is no accountability and I don't know who is coming to be with our very valuable and desirable puppy. The suggestion was to find a dog hotel ot play place that we can check out and know the situation before we take her there, My rating is "no stars" but that doesn't seem to be an option. Andrea is obviously irresponsible and we were probably better off having no one. Its one thing for something to come up, but no notice until I called 15 minutes after she was supposed to be here is inexcusable. The best she did was offer her apologizes, so at least she was polite, but that doesn't solve the problem. And apologizes was all we could do to the couple who was getting married.
