From owning a rescue pit bull to working in a barn for most of my teen years, taking care of animals has always been a major part of my life. Animals have so much to teach me, and spending time with them is always a wonderful learning experience. I’ve been a long-time dog walker (and even trained with a professional walker in 2017 who taught me about animal psychology and inter-animal relationships), worked in a horse barn, volunteered at a local animal shelter, and have been a regular caregiver for scores of different animals. I’ve got tons of love to go around and all the professional expertise to boot! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence that’s here to make friends, and have some fun with tug-of-war or fetch when they warm up to me!
