Pet care experience
Animals have been a very big part of my life as I have always been surrounded by them. I've taken care of my own dogs, neighbor's and family's pets since I moved to Vancouver from Brazil 12 years ago. I always seek company when being outside and welcome indoors cuddles. I am great with both energetic dogs (lots of walking outside and mental games) and moderate level energy. It's all about patience, love and laughter.

This was the first time leaving my 6 month puppy and Andrea put me completely at ease. Andrea respected the routine that we have as well as providing welcomed tips before we arrived to make my puppy feel more at home! Andrea treats your dog as her own and I could tell on pick up how happy my puppy was. I would recommend her to anyone.
When you book with Andrea you are getting a someone who will really care for your dog. This was the first time we had to have someone take care of our Sherlock and she went above and beyond. From the initial meet up you could tell she really cared. She asked questions about Sherlock and how she could personalize his care so that he would be the most comfortable for the night. During his stay, she sent updates with pictures on how he was doing which helped put both me and my wife's mind at ease. We will definitely book with Andrea again for our future dog sitting needs!
Andrea is the absolute best! She helped us feel super comfortable leaving our large puppy with her for our first trip away. Andrea is knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and very understanding. She kept us in the loop with messages and pictures on how it was all going. Our pup warmed up to her quickly, no doubt because Andrea is patient, caring and a true dog lover. We will definitely book again!
Andrea cares. You can feel comfortable knowing that your dog is in good hands. She was very good at keeping me updated on my dog's behaviour and activities. I really appreciated how conscientious she was about my dog's happiness.

I have an upstairs balcony that your pooch can hang out in with access to indoors 24/7 (door is always open). Depending on your dog's energy, I can take them up to 4 walks a day (30 mins-1 hr each). If required, time for training and mental games can also be added. I live around a ton of dog parks (if you feel comfortable with that) and the seawall for walks.

It would be important to know the dogs dietary restrictions, routine, behavioral issues and everything that they love to do- activity wise or food. Habits and quirks would be helpful too.
A typical day
Stimulating a dog mentally and physically is essential. We'll play a bunch of games (I've got a couple of puzzles and sniff mats at home), check out all the new smells in my neighborhood, and explore a big park near my house.
