Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm and have always had pets. I have my own two dogs, and have taken care of friends’ pets frequently over time. I’m happy to follow any instructions you might have for your pets, and make sure they have a great time while they stay with me :) I also live in a touristy area, so if you are on vacation and would like to have me care for your dog while you do something fun, I can help you out!

Rover is lucky to have Andrea! She has often taken care of my dogs for a day of fun, sleepovers and weeklong stays. They always come home happy and tired from outdoor fun and indoor cuddles. Andrea is very attentive to a dog’s personality, quirks and needs. She keeps them safe while exploring hiking trails, beaches and her beautiful and spacious yard. 5/5 recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have an unfenced yard, so I always supervise while dogs are outside. The yard is very large; usually we are playing fetch and walking around. Dogs are free in my house, but I do have a large crate and dog gates I can use if needed. My two dogs are friendly so your dog(s) will have fun staying with me! I enjoy hiking and going to the beach, and will happily include your dog(s) in those activities too :)

I like to know if your dog has any special needs or quirks to make sure that I care for them exactly how you want me to and I am able to keep them happy and safe. Please tell me feeding instructions, medical needs, and special considerations for their stay.
A typical day
Our days start with breakfast (or not if your dog doesn’t eat breakfast) and a good wander around the yard for a bathroom break. Usually this includes some fetch and sniffing the bushes. There are then a variety of activities we do throughout the day, including things like gardening in the yard, a walk in the park just a minute from my house, a trip to the beach which is also just a minute from my house, a group walk with a friend and their dog, and indoor play with toys from the toy box.

Availability
I work full time during the week. In the evenings and on weekends I spend pretty much all of my time at home with my dogs. I am available to take care of your dog(s) on the weekends or in the evenings - even throughout the week if needed. Contact me to discuss any needs you might have!
