I have had animals my whole life. Mostly horses, cats, and rabbits. Since several years I am a proud rescue dog mum. On a regular basis I take care of some dogs and cats of friends. My horse which I have had since 2004 came with me from Germany to San Diego:) Due to my experience with my own animals, I know how important it is to listen to the pet owner's needs and being reliable and will keep you updated at all times. I do understand how important it is that you can trust somebody with your fur Baby.

I love how Andrea pays attention to detail. She wanted to make sure that she knew my little guys: from feeding to their habits. My two kitties are extremely shy and usually hide whenever a stranger is in the house, but with Andrea they were around during her visits! I never worried a minute while I was out of town because she had everything under control. It was such a comfort knowing that my little guys could stay in their own routine at home. I would HIGHLY recommend Andrea to all my friends with furry creatures. Don’t even worry about finding the right sitter, just let Andrea come over and take care of your little furry family at home. AND, she will update you during every visit, regarding your pets and their behavior.

Excellent care taker! 10/10 would recommend to anyone out there that needs help when youre going out of town. Went to a day trip for snowboarding and she came in to help. Very flexible with time and would work with you on your busy schedule. Cheers!

I live with my dog Yoda in a gated community and have a big fenced patio. It is close to the bike path for some nice walks.

I love all animals. Please let me know which special needs or habits your pet has. As a pet owner I know the struggles :) Your dog must be friendly when somebody who he or she does not know is taking care for a walk, entering their home or sitting. Please, no aggressive dogs or dogs with a biting history. When it comes to overnight boarding at my home your dog should be well behaved - not to much barking, basic potty trained, not destroying the apartment and coming along with Yoda. Your dog should be able to stay alone at home for a few hours as well just in case. Pls reach out ahead of time for overnight stays so we can set up a Meet &Greet with Yoda first. He does not care about other dogs but some do show agression towards him as he barks sometimes. Please reach out to me if you have any further questions or want to discuss more details. I think it is easier to clarify things in person and to see if I am a good "match" for your needs.
A typical day
As we live right at the bay side I like to walk there. A lot to sniff and calm area. Long beach walks are awesome. Dog parks are close by too. I love to take my dog for hikes and spend time outdoors.

Availability
I flexible at the moment to cater for the pet owner's needs. I am available most evenings of the week and most weeks full day Tuesdays and Saturdays. My work schedule might change sometimes so pls reach out for more details :) As well please reach out ahead of time so for overnight stays so we can Set up a Meet &Greet with my dog Yoda to see if it is a good fit. I cant take aggressive dogs. My dog had bad experience and sometimes barks which can make some dogs reactive towards my dog. All calm or playful pups are a great fit for him and always welcome. I own the house but it would be good if your baby is kind of potty trained and does not bark at all times because of the neighboors.
