Pet care experience
Both my husband and I have our Canine Emergency First Aid and CPR certification. For pets, we have a senior Belgian Malinois that required substantial engagement and exercise, to now just requiring short breaks. Whether your dog is super active, somewhere in the middle or just prefers a comforting environment, this is your spot for an anxiety free experience.

Fantastic stay. The place is absolutely beautiful and Andrea and her husband are really in tune with dogs. Lewis had a great time!! I can tell by all the pics I got and the huge smile on his face while there. I’d 100% recommend. I would absolutely use again.
Amazing care for our dog when we had to do last minute booking. Both Andrea and her husband were really great people to get along with. They were really thoughtful and had best interest for our dog. Definitely will recommend to anyone who wants to get their pet to be taken care by someone who you can trust.

We are so grateful to have found Andrea and David. Sadie has spent several day care days with them but this was her first 'sleepover'. She had several friends to play while there and lots of outside walks and play. Right up her alley. Sadie is young and has lots of energy. She came back well exercised and taken care of. I fed her when we got back home at 5:00 and she slept until the next morning lol. We couldn't ask for anything more. We know Sadie can't wait to be back. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

The majority of 20 acres is fenced, flat, treed for abundant shade when required and has over 2km of walking trails. We also live on a very quiet street with very little traffic for longer walks. You can also feel comfortable knowing your dog will be fitted with a gps tracker and high visibility gear during dark morning and night walks.

Due to our quiet location, there is some wildlife, so knowing if your dog would chase after animals (deer, bunnies). Does your pet get agitated by certain things (noises, planes that fly by)? Do they prefer to be walked on leash, have good recall or any food sensitivities?
A typical day
We have over 2km of walking trails that meander through the property. Will be building an agility course soon and have a lot of space for catch, hide and seek, search games. We have a dog wash station with hot/cold water for bath time if required. So far, the majority of dogs prefer to just play outside, but are more than welcome to come in the house and have a rest.

Availability
I'm home 24/7 and would love to share our new found acreage with pets in need of an outdoor piece of heaven while parents away or just need to run some errands. PLEASE NOTE: Boarding rates are for a 24 hour period. If looking to book just an overnighter (5pm - 9am), you can select the dog boarding option and we can edit the times accordingly. We are 5 minutes off the Inland Island Highway (Hwy19), so if you're traveling up Island to mountain bike or ski for the day or weekend, we are conveniently located for easy drop-off and pick-up on your way.
