Pet care experience
I am a graduate student at the UW in the school of social work! I am a dog lover and would love to help you care for your dogs. I grew up in a home with multiple dogs and cats and those loving animals have been a huge part of my life! I hope to calm my puppy fever with time loving on your dogs. I am happy to run/walk everyday with your pups. I also have experience with senior dogs who needs extra care. Please let me know any of your dogs special needs and quirks. I am happy to care for multiple dogs and cats for no additional charge. If interested, my partner (fellow dog lover) Alex can join me in providing extra care for your pets.

It was our first time using Rover and leaving our pup. We were a bit anxious, but Joy was wonderful. She sent us pictures and updates each day. Joy was quick to respond to any questions we had. Andrea Joy is the absolute best. She clearly cares for our pups and our big sweet pitties simply *adore*. We've had some really great pet sitters in the past but having their people away is still always a stressor for the dogs. Andrea Joy has covered us on two trips now and we have returned to find our pups happy, contented and calm in way we haven't seen on other trips. She is our go-to going forward. I like to know: -what your dogs love to do!! Run? Walk? Toys? -dietary restrictions and if they need medication. -your departure time (so I know about what time I should head over to see your pups for the first time) -Your arrival (so I know I am not leaving your dog long before you are coming back!) -How to get into your house/apt including key locations and codes for gates -average meal times and how much they are fed -average frequency and length of walks for the dogs (so I don't tire them too much) -an emergency vet number/regular vet! Thanks
A typical day
I love to go to the park and bring pups! If your dog is social, dogs parks are great! If not, I love walking/running around the neighborhood. I try to keep close to your ideal pup schedule. I also love to curl up with the pups and read. My partner Alex, another rover sitter, also likes to come along to love on the dogs! He is especially a great help with multiples for walks and hangtime. It is also a great backup incase of a personal emergency or sickness of mine to insure your pet(s) get all the care they need.
