Andrea is a really nice person. This review can not be held against Andrea. Thank you. Rover needs to make it clear that only one dog will be kept at one time. I left my dog with Andrea for 11 days while I was out of contact in the Canadian wilderness. I was told there would be no other dogs in the apartment at that time. When I returned to Montreal my contact number for Andrea called and said my dog was kept in kitchen with a child separating fence. Another dog three times the size of my dog jumped the 3 ft. separator and ripped into my dogs flesh. Andrea took my dog to a vet she knew instead of taking to my vet which was listed on the care form Rover has you fill out. The vet charged a ridiculous amount of money (I grew up with my vet and showed what was done and the charges) for things administered besides the flesh wounds. I had to pay out of pocket and was only reimbursed part of the bill from Rover. I'm out over $1,000.00. We decided never to leave our dog with anyone we don't know moving forward. Please if you are forced to use a sitting service DO NOT USE ROVER. This happened June of 2019, I waited until now to write this so I didn't run into any repercussions from Rover. I don't know who runs Rover or how they received licensing. I don't think they're adults or civilized people (I won't get onto details). Rover probably won't print this, I'll check continuously to see if they do. If they did, please heed my warning. Stay safe, stay healthy at this crazy time of this virus. Peace.

I have never left my fur babies alone for an extended period of time. They are very territorial and protective and hate when anyone enters the house. I was very nervous but Andrea knew exactly how to handle them. She sent me pictures and my Lhaso Apso was laying on her back allowing Andrea to rub her belly. I was amazed. Will definitely use Andrea again. Highly reccomended!
