Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Andi! Starting at a young age I would pet sit for neighbors and friends of varying animals and dog sizes. I expanded my love for animals by becoming a Vet Assistant in our local community for almost 6 years, both in general practice and emergency care. From puppies to senior and everything in between, I’ve handled it all! I currently have an almost 14 y.o Newfoundland myself! My background allows me to comfortably medicate your pet, if needed, along with any other special requirements to be sure every day is the best day!

Andy is the best!! She has taken such good care of my little one. I felt so comfortable leaving her under Andy’s care. Andy kept me informed and shared pictures throughout her stay. Andy’s pups are true gents and love to share their toys.
Andi took the absolute BEST care of our puppy while we were on vacation! We were so sad to leave him and really nervous for our first time away, but we felt 100% better when we met Andi, her husband and her very friendly pups. They sent the most adorable pictures and video updates (that we watched over and over). I could tell he had the best time and that they really enjoyed having him stay. They treated him like a member of the family! We will definitely use Andi as our go-to for help when we’re away.
I’ve known Andrea for 15 years. Ever since high school she has loved animals and has such a sweet spot for not only pets, but people. One of the most selfless and caring humans I know! She takes exceptional care of her 3 lovely dogs and bunny! Her experience with vet help and having pets since she was very young makes her a perfect person to take care of your pets. I couldn’t think of anyone better to care for my cat if ever needed! If you want your pets to be loved and cared for just as you do, there is no doubt this is the person you want on your side!

My Husband and I have a welcoming home with central air and hardwood floors for those hot days or fluffy breeds, like our three! We have two Newfoundlands, one turned a year end of March and the other nearing 14. We also have a 3 y.o Great Pyrenees which means we have a fenced in backyard for everyone to relax, play and safely use the bathroom. We keep a kiddy pool in the summer with clean water for monitored playtime. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture, which of course would include your pet(s) (unless you desire otherwise) every animal is treated like family here, spoiled beyond belief!

I want to be sure your pet will be their most comfortable and confident self while in my care so it is extremely important to share any fears, triggers, prior trauma your pet may have experienced. On the opposite end of that, any specific soothing methods/toys etc. Any prior injuries that could affect walks or location. If your loved one has any specials needs, medications or naughty behavior to look out for and help curb while in my care. Are they on prevention? (That will matter for nature walks!) Having three giant breeds dogs of our own it’s important that your pet be dog friendly and comfortable around newfoundlands and a Pyrenees. Also having three of our own it’s very important to us that your pets be up to date on current vaccines, rabies and have their kennel cough. ** Neuter/Spay only required for dogs over 1.5 years.**
A typical day
Other than being around the property we love to pile in for car rides, nature walks all around our area and trips to Moreau State Park for some swimming! Meadowbrook is a favorite and frequent trail for us. We love hitting up any dog friendly spots, especially on rainy or winter days like Lowes or a local coffee shop! Plus a stroll through downtown is always a nice, social time. Walks will of course vary based on your pets needs, personality and wants
