I’m a pet lover and experienced professional pet/house sitter living in Southtown, near the Blue Star. I recently moved to San Antonio for a reporting job at a local news nonprofit. I love it when pet owners can enjoy a vacation knowing their animals are having fun too. I've been a dog, horse and cat owner in other stages of life, but don’t currently have any pets. I get my fur fix helping friends and colleagues with their animals, and have more than a decade of professional experience caring for animals of all sizes and breeds. -Housesitting rates include all pets -Jogger/hiker & great match for high-energy pups I work part-remote M-F. Some days I have to be in the office for 6-7 hours, so pets must be able to make it that long without a bathroom break if the stay includes weekdays. I can accommodate most other routines, including early morning walks. On weekends I can offer more frequent bathroom breaks. When I’m not at work I spend as much time as possible with the pets I watch. I love to cook, read and explore new neighborhoods while petsitting. I offer in-home overnight sitting, so pets can always go out first thing in the morning and right before bed. I can also board pets at my apartment. Feel free to suggest dog parks, walking paths or preferred routes! I try to make sure dogs that love other dogs get to socialize. For boarding: I live in a 2nd floor apartment with lots of natural light. It's a stone's throw from the river, so great for walks. It can be accessed by stairs or elevator. Floors are concrete. Pets are welcome on all furniture. For housesitting: I generally stay overnight with pets while housesitting, unless the owner has specifically requested otherwise. I normally come over to meet the pets, see their routine and get access information before a stay.
