Andrea took care of our two pugs and our one cat . First off , we did a meet and greet with her and the pups about a week prior . Everything was great and I thought would work out perfect . Keep in mind we have been using rover for years and past sitters has been amazing. I will admit this is the first time I have had a negative experience with a sitter . I always tell people I love rover services because they make our vacations stress free because I know the animals are in good hands . Not even a couple hours into our trip , we were having issues. I always have communication with the sitters so I tell them that we have puppy cameras on there cage so we can watch them . The day we left we had a flight so right before take off I checked on the dogs and they were barking a ton so I texted the sitter a simple text asking when she will be home . I have never gotten a rude or disrespectful text from any sitter but this time I received a very hostile message implying if the dogs can’t be home by themselves that Mabey she wasn’t a good fit and other solutions need to be came up with . I was in shock . I told her the dogs can’t be home alone for more than 4-5 hours max. The only expectation was she gave me notice ahead of time that on one of the days she had a family commitment and would be gone less than 7 hours so I accepted that for only one day . She kept texting say that if she knew the dogs needed someone home with them that we told her wrong information . The thing that confuses me is that these are puppies and I told her multiple time prior to booking her that they get into trouble a lot and need a lot of supervisions and if she doesn’t think she is a good fit than that’s okay I would book someone else . Keep in mind we are on a a plane to across the us and are getting these messages . To say we were stressed our whole vacation making sure our dogs well-being’s were taken care of is understatement . I am very disappointed and will not recommend this sitter .

So grateful to have found Andrea! She is incredibly prompt in her responses and easy to work with, and takes great care of our pup when she visits. We also love receiving photos of our pup during her visits!
