I was raised around cats and dogs my entire life. My "soul dog" was my childhood yellow lab mix named Abby that was my constant companion for 15 years. I strive to care for your pets the way I cared for my own. After my dog crossed the rainbow bridge, I was the "go-to" in our church community for dog sitting. I also have experience with a variety of dog breeds and can quickly be in tune to their temperaments and social preferences. Pets can teach us a great deal about boundaries, and I always defer to what the pet is most comfortable with, whether that's little to no interaction or only minimal petting. I do not have cat or dog allergies. I live an active lifestyle that allows me to keep up with energetic breeds old and young, and would be able to take pets on long walks or hikes if that is the level of exercise they require.
