I'm a genuine dog lover!
Pet care experience
When I was 6 years old, my mom and step father adopted two chocolate labs. Cinnamon was a heavier dog with arthritis from a young age, and Mocha was a real lover with quite a bit of anxiety. I loved both dogs and helped care for them, taking them on walks, scooping their poop, feeding and bathing them. While I was in college, a friend and I took in a lovable pit bull with a whole slew of problems. Gus has high energy, separation anxiety, frequent ear infections, allergies manifested on his skin, and the never charming habit of peeing when overly excited by newly arrived guests. We worked with him to ensure he got lots of exercise and kept him cozy in a crate while we were both away and made that his place to calm down if he was licking someone too incessantly to address his energy and anxiety. We cleaned his ears frequently and kept up on vet visits to keep his ear infections under control. We tried different kinds of dog food until we found one that didn't irritate his allergies. We started a system of, "Gus, go outside!" when people came over so he could empty his bladder before greeting. All this was shared between us in addition to all the other aspects of caring for a dog. When I moved to Chicago after college and roomed with my sister, she had recently adopted a young pit mix who steals most anyone's heart who meets him. Being that my sister is a nurse and loves to travel, I got to take care of Morrison all the time, sometimes being his exclusive care giver when my sister was out of town. I would love when she would come home from an extended trip and he would follow me around instead of her for a few days. Between caring for all these pups I have a lot of experience, including experience with difficult and strong dogs.

Awesome job yet again! I would definitely recommend Andrea! She's reliable and trustworthy and I feel reassured leaving our dog in her hands!
Andrea helped me out this past holiday weekend when all of my other sitters were unavailable and she was a pleasure to work with! Andrea kept me updated as to how Maya was doing and if there was any concerning behavior that I would want to know about. She helped administer medicine when needed and stayed late into the night on July 4th until I was almost home, to keep Maya company since she was scared of the fireworks. My house and dog were in great shape when I got home and Andrea left a note recapping the weekend. And I of course appreciated all the pictures she sent while I was gone and missing my pup :) Thanks for everything Andrea!
Andrea did a great job watching our pitbull Bonnie. Andrea is super reliable and great about keeping usin the loop about our dog. It gave us great peace of mind that she was taking care of Bonnie! This is the second time she's taken care of Bonnie for us!!
Andrea is one of the most attentive, responsible, and responsive dog sitters I have ever had. She cared for Kroshka for twleve days while I was out of the country, and I have never seen my dog so happy, healthy, and well-behaved after getting back. I reached out to her two days before a long trip because my other sitter had a last-minute conflict. Andrea stepped in, and from the first meeting, I was sure she was the right person to watch Kroshka. She proved that feeling correct as she was superbly suited for my dog, who can be a handful. She kept me updated and followed directions. I am very thankful and, if I wasn't leaving Chicago, would book Andrea every time I needed someone to care for my pup.
