I will treat your dog(s) as my own. My friends tell me I have a special way of patting dogs and they (the dogs) seem to love it. They will get good belly rubs, behind-the-ear scratches and whatever love they need from both my husband and me. Our large fenced yard will entice your dog(s) to run and play as well as relax. We are comfortable looking after more than one dog at a time as we have a dog of our own. Just an FYI, Fiona, our 14.5 year old passed away in December 2023. We just adopted a 1-year-old who is slowly getting socialized. Your dogs will also feel more comfortable in our house knowing that they are welcome and have familiar dog faces and smells here. I am also comfortable taking care of your dog(s) in your house to ensure your fur-children continue to stay in the comforts of their own homes. My husband and I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s) soon.

We can do a meet and greet if you’d like but it’s not always necessary. If your dog(s) will be in my home, my husband will be helping out. If you need a house sitter while you’re gone because it’s easier and better for your pets to be in the comforts of their own home, it’ll just be me. Boarding/Daycare: I have a fenced backyard. For older dogs like when we had Fiona, she struggled to go up and down the deck stairs so I let her out in the front yard which isn’t fenced. However, I went with her and she was great at not taking off with me and my husband. Our new dog, Meeks, is on a leash in the front yard for now since she’s new. If you’re worried about your dog being in the front yard, I will use a leash. If you would feel safer with me using a leash on your dog, I definitely can do that. Otherwise, the backyard is more than sufficient if they’re okay with stairs. Home Sitting: I will do my best to stick with your routine with your dog. I do work full-time, 2 days from home. If your dog loves walks/car rides, I’d be happy to have them meet mine and they can walk together. If you need me to also take care of other animals in your home, please let me know. I am an animal lover and will learn quickly to care for animals I’ve not taken care of before.

A typical day
We will play in the house and in the backyard. We usually go for walks in the neighborhood. There will be some days with car rides to the stores. They will definitely get lots of pats and cuddles.

Availability
I work full-time, 2 days from home. During the days I’m in the office, I will let the dogs out when I wake up and after my husband or I get back home. The other two days and on weekends, I will let them out every 2-3 hours or as and when they need to go. My husband helps me when he’s home and we go for daily walks in the evenings and on weekends. I love patting and playing with them as that’s my routine with my own dog so rest assured, I’ll make sure your dog gets loved too.
