Pet care experience
My work for the past 8 years has always involved animal care, either as a vet assistant, wildlife rehab intern, or zookeeper. I’ve cared for animals as small as newts to as large as caribou! Of course I also love dogs and cats, and I love meeting new breeds and personalities. I’m also comfortable with various farm animals, like ducks, chickens, and pigs. Please don’t hesitant to give as much information as you want and ask for updates as you need. I am patient and loving, and I strive to give the best care to your pets while you’re away. You'll receive many pictures!

Andra was so amazing with our high anxiety dog. She was so patient, understanding, and knew exactly how to make our dog comfortable. I wouldn’t have been able to take this trip without her and I am so grateful. Andra provided us with videos, pictures, and updates and my dog had the biggest smile in every one of them! I cannot thank or recommend her enough!
Thank you so much for taking great care of our home and pets. Andra spends good time with the dogs exercising them, playing and teaching them. We get messages, videos and pics daily from her. We feel great when we are away knowing that she is there and taking care of them and staying at our home.

I am IM injection trained and am comfortable giving medications, so building a trusting relationship by learning your pet’s boundaries is my priority.

Please let me know if your pet has a medication schedule (or health concerns), a training plan, and/or behavioral concerns. I have primarily cared for middle-aged, senior, and anxious animals, but regardless of life-stage or ability, I always approach animals with patience and respect.
A typical day
I love going on multiple walks, and I usually provide a “slow walk” where your pet can enjoy scents freely and take their time to explore. If your pet is comfortable getting in a car, I know of walking trails in Eatonville and Orting. I’m new to the Puyallup area, so let me know which parks or trails your pet likes most!

Availability
I have full-day availability Sunday-Tuesday to spend time with your kids! I work part-time as a zookeeper Wednesday-Saturday, but I can still do overnights and provide potty and play breaks in the morning + evening. I’m gone for 9 hours Wed-Sat so please keep that in mind while booking.
