WFH Office Job - Active Runner
Pet care experience
I am a 34 year old man currently working from home. Living in a 2 bedroom (1300 sq ft) apartment. I walk and run in the mornings and at night as part of my routine so I figured why not include a dog or two into the mix. Working from home has been convenient but lonely and I would love a temporary non-committal pet companion while also helping out anyone that needs a sitter. I don't own any pets and don't smoke. I go to the gym usually every other day for about an hour during the evenings. I grew up with a big Newfoundland and a tiny toy poodle so my experience with dogs is mixed. I don't mind pets on my couch or bed. If you have an active dog that loves to get out and run I would be perfect for going on a run with them to get their exercise.

Anatoliy made us feel very comfortable and at ease during our Tod's stay. He was very communicative about how our little guy was doing, eating and enjoying his vacation. He was attentive as our dog has some allergies and made us feel much better about leaving him with someone new. He sent pictures whenever we asked and when we picked Tod up, it seemed like he was sad to part with his new friend! We will definitely use him again!

Anatoliy was amazing with our dogs!! He sent pictures and updates! Our dogs are very particular about people and we’ve had a hard time finding someone they both love but they loved staying at his place and seemed very happy!! Will definitely use him every time we can!

I make sure to feed the pet based on the instructions from the owner while also maintaining the portion control. Water will be given regularly as the bowl will never be empty and always replenished.

I'd like to know eating schedule and portion requirements. If they have any special medical requirements. How they normally behave with other people and other dogs if encountered during a walk. Lastly, whether or not the dog has high energy and would enjoy running for a portion of the regular walks. Anything else I should know in advance that might have been left out?
A typical day
I walk and run around my apartment complex neighborhood for 20 minutes in the mornings (around 6:30 AM) and then again at night (around 9 PM). With a dog, I wouldn't mind adding one or two more walks in the middle of the day for potty breaks. If the dog has high energy, I would run with them outside. As I'm working from home anyway, I will have plenty of time to give the dog(s) attention that they deserve.

Working from home allows me to give lots of love and attention. I wake up bright and early and can take the dogs out whenever they need to go potty. If boarding, your little furry buddy will be with me at all times and looked out for.
