Updated January 2022: I have been a dog owner & lover for 38 + years. I have been a cat owner & lover for 12 + years. I am babysitter & nanny who takes care of dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, geckos, bearded dragons, fish, etc. in addition to the kiddos. I used to go to dog shows with families to take care of their dogs (& children) in the hotel rooms up & down the east coast. I have experience with small breeds as well as large/giant breeds & everything in between. I have some experience in basic dog training for the last 2+ years. I have worked with a few dogs on a few tricks. I really enjoy it. I am currently working with some professional trainers who are helping me train my service dog. I have experience giving medications & shots to dogs & cats as needed. I also provide care for sick & dying pets as needed as some of the pets have needed to pass on. I have experience bathing dogs on some occasions. I am punctual, reliable, dependable & trustworthy. All dogs & cats love me instantly & I sure love them! I have references as needed. My price of $60 for "overnight" includes ALL of your pets for three approximately 30 minute visits (which are $20 each). If you prefer four visits, it’s $20 more for a total of $80 per 24 hours. Please note “holiday rates” are $23 per visit. You pick the number of visits. I also take out & bring in trash & recycling, bring in mail & packages, flip on & off lights, etc. The transition days (your departure & your arrival days) are completely flexible based on your schedule. You decide when you’re leaving & returning. You pick the number of visits you prefer for those days. I charge by the visit (includes all of your pets). Regular rate is $20 per visit & holiday rate is $23 per visit. Boarding at Dogtopia is $50 overnight ($30 for day care & $20 for overnight). Impawsible Pups charges $34 for single dog, $25 for second dog & $23 for any more additional dogs. They charge a $10 Sunday pick up fee. They charge you day care for that day if picked up after 10am Monday - Saturday. Holiday Barn charges $42 for one dog, $72 for two dogs & $102 for three dogs to have 3 potty breaks in the kennel lodge. Holiday & weekend rates are $45, $75 & $105. If you want 5 potty breaks in the cozy cottages for dogs, it’s $58, $94 & $130. Holiday & weekend rates are $62, $98, & $134. 5 potty breaks are also included in the luxury suites for dogs. It costs $72, $116, & $160. Holiday & weekend rates are $76, $120, & $164. They offer presidential suites for dogs for $82, $130 & $178. Holiday & weekend rates are $86, $134 & $182. Holiday Barn offers cat boarding at various pricing. Check out time is 1pm. 4 Paws Pet Resort is $31 for first guest & $26 for each additional guest. They charge $12 for early check in or late check out & $1 per medication administered. You also need to pre-measure all food & treats in separate baggies & bring all your pet’s favorite items from home. With boarding, you have to pack up your dog/cat/bunny etc. with their special items & take them to the boarding location. When you hire me, you don't have to do any of that as I come to you & I will be your pet's "human" for the time you're away. Your pet can keep their "regular routine" that they are used to when you're gone. Your pet gets all the "special attention" as I'm one person who loves furry animals. I will love on your furry family as if they were my own. Will the boarding facility do that? (& you have someone basically living in your home which deters break ins & also means someone can call the fire department if needed.) Will the boarding place check on your house while you’re away?
