Hello! I am a dog-loving psychology graduate and trainee therapist :) I recently finished a masters in clinical research at Imperial College London, and am currently working from home, as well as completing my therapy training. My boyfriend Joe also works from home, shares my love for dogs, and dog sits with me! Growing up with an adored Labrador retriever, I have always been a dog lover. I took care of my lab when he was a super energetic playful puppy, and in his elderly years when he fell sick to cancer and required “special needs care” due to a leg amputation. He was my star from beginning to end. Joe has also grown up on farms around tons of beloved dogs and other animals, including cats and pigs. Together, we have rescued a beloved elderly Rottweiler boy, who we recently lost from bone cancer. He was our world, and taking care of him, training him, transforming him from street dog to sofa hound, was the honour of our lives. We have been dog sitting with Rover for almost four years now, and meeting so many wonderful dogs has been an incredible experience. We have experience fostering dogs and are experienced dog sitting dogs of different ages and sizes, from very young puppies to elderly dogs, and different breeds, mixed dogs, rescue dogs, Rottweilers, wolf dogs, frenchies, pugs, retrievers, spaniels, viszlas, beagles, poodles.. We are aware each dog and not only each breed requires individual affection and care, and we love them all!! I am always keen to take care of all of my friends' dogs when needed! I helped raise and train my friend's tea cup Pomeranian even when he was a few months old and when he was sick and in need of medicines, and fostered her 15 years old golden retriever. I am extremely reliable and dedicated whenever someone trusts me with their dogs. I have worked as a childminder and babysitter for even very young children, and also worked with vulnerable adults. These jobs require being very alerted, caring, and attentive, and I am just as dedicated and aware when looking after pups. To us, a home without a dog doesn’t feel like a home. Out of anything in the world, dogs are what makes us happiest. We can’t wait to be dog owners again in the future, when the time is right! While our dream is to be surrounded by dogs, we normally only accept one booking at a time to ensure your dog has our full attention - but if your dogs prefer being in a gang then we are happy to have a house full! With two home based dog lovers, your pups are guaranteed attention and cuddles all day long! We are both very active and a 2 minute walk from the Heath so having dogs to take on long walks is ideal for us. My desire is to make you feel as happy and comfortable as possible when your beloved pups are away, I will always keep you updated, be responsive and responsible, and follow all the guidelines you give me. It's safe to say I never met a dog I didn't adore, and I would love to take care of your dogs, cuddle them, play with them, and walk them around Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill, Regents Park, etc!
