Pet care experience
I'm a huge animal lover with over 10 years of experience in dog care. I've had dogs all my life and I'm pretty comfortable taking care of them. I volunteered for a year at the Seattle Humane Society before moving to San Diego, I took several classes as part of my volunteer training such as Dog Behavior and Socialization I, II and III; Reactive Rover and Animal Handling. My husband and I have a small dog named Jack who can be very energetic on walks and a couch potato while at home. He is a small dog Terrier/Corgi mix that is 4 years old. We adopted him 3 years ago and has become our baby and a really important part of our life. I know how important it is for you to know that your dog is having the best care possible while you are away, so be sure that if your dog stays with us we will make him feel part of our family. While your dog is in our care we will play with him, take him on walks, and give him lots of love. I will be careful to follow your instructions if they have special needs. We usually let our dog on our furniture and our bed so we don't have any issues if your doggie wants to sleep with us. Feel free to ask me any questions! *** Please note that I do not host dogs without doing a meet and greet beforehand to ensure our dogs are a good fit ***

Anahi is great. My dog Lola has stayed with her several times for doggy daycare. Lola gets excited when we pull up to her apartment and recognizes where we are. Anahi sends pictures and updates about walks. She is wonderful and we will continue to use her services.
Anahi is a very respinsible and caring dog owner. Her dog Jack is a sweetheart. I’ve had the opportunity to see very closely how she cares for him and how she has raised him very responsibly, that I’m sure she will be a great sitter for gou dog. I would not hesitate to leave my dog with her.
Anahà is an excellent sitter, she took good care of our two dogs and I can tell they had a great time with her and her lovely dog Jack. She is very responsible, sent pictures of my dogs, and made their well-being her priority. Highly recommended!

I'd like to know if he has any issues on walks (reactive on leash), if he is afraid of something particular (people with hats, motorcycles, skateboards, etc.). If he prefers to be on his own or he wants a lot of attention etc. That way we can keep him under threshold and provide him with a great walking experience :)
A typical day
I usually take my dog on walks around University Heights, we go to the Trolley Park. On weekends we go to the dog park at Balboa. We play fetch and tug of war at home. If your dog is up for it and the weather is nice we can go on hikes.
