Pet care experience
I have had a puppy since I was 7 years old and at the age of 17 I brought another puppy home and my parents were not too happy about that, but now they love him. Since I went to college I have not been able to see my babies often. Just when I visit so I decided to dog sit. I used to watch my coaches puppies on and off while the team traveled on weekends that I could not. Sometimes I even watched my teammates puppies while they went out or on dates. throughout my time of being a dog sitter I pride myself in having patience with pups, showing them love (because I miss my babies) and teaching them new tricks.

I live at the Racquet Club apartments with my partner. We are dog lovers and go home twice a month just to see our puppies that watch over our family while we are away. At my apartment there is a small dog park about 30 yards from my doorstep. I also have and an open living room space perfect for pups to play. While in college and I dog sat, I tried to teach each puppy a new trick by the end of my services. Because I was a student athlete I do not mind to take a jog around the apartment complex with a furry friend especially after a long day of work. It distresses me and gives the little one a workout. I am the more active "Let's play!" dog lover. My partner is the more affectionate one. She loves to take naps and belly rub while watching movies or TV.

A typical day
I w ill take the puppies to River Hill Park or around UK's Campus. I like to teach different puppies new tricks like fetch, giving high fives, and rolling over. As for the babies I do not mind helping them potty train.

Availability
I work part time at the University of Kentucky as an Academic advising Assistant Monday through Friday and I am off on the weekends. Monday through Wednesday I work from 8am-3pm Thursday 4:30pm-10pm and Friday as needed, but no more than 3 hours. My schedule is very flexible with this job though I have to maintain at least 30 hours per week.
